As Program Manager, Christina is responsible for organizing programming associated with grant projects, including working groups, colloquia, and major conferences in collaboration with the Administrative Assistant. She tracks grant progress to guarantee all project milestones are met, reports project progress to external funding agencies, and manages grant expenditures.
Christina’s research interests span a wide variety of fields. She previously worked for Indiana University School of Medicine investigating the budding mechanism of Ebola virus. Most recently, working for the Center for Civil and Human Rights of the Keough School, she has launched an online comparative research tool, Convocate. This database utilizes natural language processing techniques to simultaneously search documents of Catholic social teaching and international human rights law, bringing the two fields into dialogue.
