Nicholas Ogle is a doctoral student in Moral Theology at the University of Notre Dame. He is interested in how the Thomistic moral tradition can contribute to the healing of the division between nature and freedom in modernity. His work focuses on the history and present viability of the concepts of conscience and human rights, and the place these concepts have in various medieval and modern theories of natural law.
