Spezio Lecture

Over one hundred people attended a public lecture by Dr. Michael Spezio on Friday evening, September 2. He challenged descriptions of the self as egoistic and individualistic and offered an alternative narrative of identity formation within the context of intentional communities of love, compassion, and care. Dr. Spezio is Associate Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at Scripps College in Claremont, CA. Respones were given by Dr. Mark Fox (Indiana University School of Medicine) and Dr. William C. Mattison III (Notre Dame).
